"Providing transportation for service members is often a challenge that can be difficult to navigate. Given the remote location of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, something as basic as a well-deserved vacation may be out of reach. Young Marines on temporary orders to conduct business aboard base have limited resources, but now moral will improve through generous efforts.
As an Active-Duty Marine stationed multiple times in Twentynine Palms, I witnessed firsthand the critical need to provide safe and economic transportation alternatives while on leave and liberty. Now as 29-PSP carries on the mission of no-cost transportation for service members, I am proud to march with them as service members go off-duty and 29-PSP goes on-duty."
